At URBAN PROGRESS, we develop and implement construction projects that create valuable spaces for a high quality of life and personal development, and that promote interpersonal relationships. Our architecture is based on people’s needs, aesthetics, and sustainability, and embodies a newly created form of space.

URBAN PROGRESS goes beyond boundaries to focus on people’s individual needs. Our mission is to realize construction projects that enhance people’s well-being while creating a vibrant community. We place particular emphasis on the concept of our network houses—a platform that takes human interaction to a new level. We not only create buildings, but also connection points that bring people together and promote positive visions for sustainability and the challenges of our time.

In addition to project development, URBAN PROGRESS is committed to supporting construction projects in Munich and the surrounding region by providing advice and assistance with site development. Our goal is to shape the future of cities and create spaces that inspire, connect, and form a vibrant tomorrow.

We combine creativity, innovation, and passion. With our expertise in project development, site development, architecture, marketing, and more, we form a multifaceted ensemble that brings the Urban Progress identity to life. Each member is a splash of color in the grand painting of our mission: to create inspiring living spaces and connect communities.

Unser Geschäftsführer Matthias, bringt einen reichen Erfahrungsschatz aus seiner langjährigen Tätigkeit im familieneigenen Unternehmen Südhausbau mit. Im Jahr 2014 wählte er den Weg, seine eigene Unternehmung, Urban Progress, zu gründen – ein Sprung in die Welt der innovativen Wohn- und Gewerbeprojekte. Mit einem Netzwerk voller gebündelter Kompetenzen hat Matthias in den Ballungszentren Münchens und Oberbayerns Lösungen geschaffen, die unsere Städte für die Zukunft fit machen. Als eigentümergeführtes Unternehmen mit starkem Eigenkapital begleiten wir den gesamten Entwicklungszyklus von Immobilien, vom Erwerb bis hin zur Übergabe an Mieter oder Eigentümer. Matthias ist nicht nur ein visionärer Geschäftsführer, sondern auch ein erfahrener Lehrer. Neben seiner Geschäftsführertätigkeit bringt er seit über zwei Jahrzehnten sein Wissen an verschiedene Universitäten ein, wobei er sein Fachwissen in den Bereichen Stadtentwicklung und Immobilienwirtschaft teilt.

In a world of limited resources, we have a responsibility to future generations to use these treasures carefully and reduce emissions.

The construction industry has considerable potential to support climate targets by using environmentally friendly building materials and minimizing harmful emissions. Choosing sustainable materials, avoiding climate-damaging emissions, and designing buildings to be environmentally friendly are ways to actively contribute to achieving these goals. Our commitment is to use recyclable materials, utilize renewable energies, ensure effective thermal insulation, and promote sustainable mobility.

In order to achieve ecological urban development, we rely on close cooperation with local project partners. We attach great importance to the preservation of green spaces and biotopes in urban environments. We also see potential in the conversion and intelligent densification of existing areas in order to strengthen the existing infrastructure and reduce the need for new land sealing.

Together with our cooperation partners, we develop comprehensive solutions based on partnership that not only work, but also strengthen social cohesion in existing and new village and neighborhood communities. Our focus is clearly on urban development in harmony with nature, and we create places for exchange and encounter.
