3,820 sqm, 340 sqm of green rooftop terrace, 500 sqm of dining and event space: The newly built ComN network hub is a creative space for talks and networking, for brainstorming in stylish think tanks or productive work in inviting open spaces, for lunch on the sun terrace with a view of the historic facades of the Großmarkthalle, or for after-work yoga as the evening sun sets over Munich – ComN is a place for gathering, creative exchange, and shared experiences.
Located in the heart of Sendling, Munich’s “hidden champion,” the site is characterized by the authentic atmosphere of this lively neighborhood: The Großmarkthalle, the Bahnwärter Thiel with its colorful artist studios, the old Utting building, the LUISE cultural center, the newly built Volkstheater, family-run Italian restaurants, traditional Bavarian Munich taverns alongside Arab street food—Sendling attracts innovative thinkers and modern brands and is increasingly becoming the cultural hub of the Bavarian capital.
Tenants and Munich residents alike can now look forward to exciting networking events and talks on current topics such as sustainability and innovation, new work/coliving & coworking, medicine/mindfulness, emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and blockchain, diversity & inclusion, and trends in food and sports. These events will be open to everyone, designed to reflect the creativity of this trendy neighborhood and foster a sense of community and innovative work.
“KEEP THE FIRE BURNING” is emblazoned in large letters all around the building and is intended as a subtle call to action—both as individuals and as a community—to responsibly face the countless challenges of our time and our future, embrace change, and, with our eyes on a set goal, literally keep the flame burning. The latest project by Munich-based artist Benjamin Bergmann has artfully captured this message through his mirrored lettering installation.
